Microboard’s second 40th anniversary celebration was a success, with over 350 attendees, including employees, family, friends and distinguished guests! Our CEO & President, Nicole Russo, kicked off the event accompanied by longtime customer Bo Guldager from Napatech. Pastor Jim Seymour delivered a heartwarming message, who spoke about the humanitarian missions that Microboard has supported since 1983. It was an honor to have Senator Blumenthal join us. “America thanks you,” said Senator Blumenthal, referring to himself as an indirect customer of Microboard’s life-saving and life-changing products. The Senator also presented prestigious citations to Sandy Hoekenga, Lee Cantelon, and Microboard.
Our local vendors brought life to the party through music, carnival games, photobooths, and so much more. Our handcrafted vendor fair was a huge success with products such as custom tumblers, handcrafted wooden flowers, candles, and 3D prints. The food trucks were a hit, with The New Haven Pizza Truck and The Taco Shack serving delicious food. Our friends from The Ice Cream Emergency went above and beyond with an ice cream parlor on wheels! On behalf of the Microboard team, thank you to everyone who made this event a success.
