MICROBOARD & Josephs International School Celebrate New Facility to Support 800 Students
Seymour, CT – January 13, 2025 – Microboard proudly announces the dedication of a new facility for Josephs International School (JIS) in Dhankya Village, Jaipur, India. This marks another milestone in Microboard’s humanitarian mission to support those living on less than a dollar a day. The new school, set to open in April 2025, will provide free, quality English-medium education to 800 at-risk children, transforming lives and strengthening communities.
Since its founding in 2006 by Rakesh Joseph and Sonali Jacob, M.A.B. Ed., JIS has grown from a small apartment classroom into an internationally accredited institution. Its curriculum spans arts and sciences, computer literacy, mechanical engineering, and adult education, with a presence in Jaipur and satellite programs in Chhattisgarh and Orissa.
A Story of Growth and Transformation
In 2015, Microboard began its partnership with JIS, exemplifying its “partnerships first” principle. This collaboration enabled the school to achieve international accreditation, allowing graduates to pursue higher education in India and abroad.
