Mr. Chris Reuther has been appointed Microboard’s Vice President of Finance.
Chris brings with him over 27 years of corporate finance experience across the aerospace, industrial, and defense industries. He is responsible for Accounting & Controls, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, Tax, Treasury, and Audit. Throughout his career, Chris has consistently built and maintained strong financial control environments that support sustained and profitable growth across product lines. He is known for his collaborative approach, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency around financial performance and strategy.
Before joining Microboard, Chris launched the Housatonic Athletic Wellness Center, a wellness startup driven by his passion for health and community. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Power Tools & Technology at Stanley Black & Decker (SBD), where he led financial operations for a major global business segment. His career also includes leadership roles across three divisions of United Technologies—Sikorsky Aircraft, Otis Elevator, and Hamilton Sundstrand—as well as Barnes Aerospace and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and three master’s degrees from Quinnipiac University: an MBA in Finance, an MS in Accounting, and an MS in Organizational Leadership. He is passionate about creating high-integrity financial practices that support business performance and long-term value creation.
Chris resides in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, with his wife and their four children.
