Paul Lemmo Joins Microboard Advisory Board

SEYMOUR, CT – October 1, 2026 – Microboard Processing, Inc., a manufacturer of leading-edge, high-reliability electronics for the defense, medical, aerospace and industrial markets, today announced that Paul Lemmo, former President of Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, has joined its Advisory Board. Lemmo brings 40 years of defense industry experience, more than 25 of them in senior leadership roles.

The appointment comes as Microboard, which has manufactured electronics in Connecticut since 1983, enters a new growth chapter. Few leaders have scaled defense businesses the way Lemmo has, and that experience will help shape what comes next.

“Paul brings an extraordinary combination of technical knowledge, strategic leadership and experience growing complex businesses,” said Nicole Russo, President and CEO of Microboard. “As we look toward our next stage of growth, his perspective will be invaluable to our leadership team. We are honored and blessed to welcome him to the Microboard family.”

As President of Sikorsky, Lemmo led approximately 11,000 employees and some of the most recognized aircraft programs in the world, including the Black Hawk, CH-53K and S-92. Sikorsky is one of Connecticut’s largest manufacturers, and during his time leading the company Lemmo worked closely with the hundreds of in-state suppliers that support its programs.

Most recently, Lemmo led Lockheed Martin’s Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems business as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing a $6 billion portfolio and more than 9,000 employees. The business included air and missile defense, radar, electronic warfare and mission systems, all of which depend on the kind of complex, high-reliability electronics customers trust Microboard to build.

Earlier in his career, as Lockheed Martin’s Chief Growth Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, Lemmo led global strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and new business capture, and served on the corporation’s Executive Leadership Team. He also spent eight years on the Lockheed Martin Ventures Investment Committee, helping guide investments in early-stage technology companies.

Lemmo holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds an Honorary Doctor of Engineering from the University of New Haven.

For Microboard’s customers, employees and partners, Lemmo’s addition to the Advisory Board is a clear signal of the company’s ambitions and its confidence in the road ahead.
