Design Transfer to Manufacturing
At Microboard we use a five-step design transfer process. We work closely with our partners to define requirements, develop assembly and test process, validate those processes, and implement controls to monitor the processes once released to production. Our processes are a part of a Quality System that can integrate seamlessly with your own. Microboard’s systems, programs, and talented staff can be leveraged by our partners to meet strict medical device requirements.
Test Development
Thorough testing is a key element to ensuring your device works as intended. Microboard’s dedicated test engineering team will work closely with you to develop a test plan and test processes that verify your device meets your design requirements.
Our early involvement during design is critical and can provide additional value when it comes to Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Test (DfT) and pre-production builds to support Development and subsequent Design Verification & Validation activities. These capabilities help our partners minimize risk and get your product to market faster.
